 EuroCross International is one of the leading assistance and insurance service providers in Europe. Established in 1982, it has its headquarters in Amsterdam, with two other European offices, one in Belgium and another in the Czech Republic. EuroCross International employs 160 people and has an extensive international network of more than 80,000 service providers, care providers and other institutes (local agencies, ambulance services, airline companies, embassies, doctors, garages, hotels, towing companies, etc.).  Created in 1950, AIM (in English, Association of Mutual benefit societies) brings together 44 national federations of autonomous health insurance and social protection bodies in 31 countries, all operating according to the principles of solidarity and not-for-profit orientation. These bodies provide coverage against sickness and other social welfare risks to more than 155 million people by participating directly in the management of compulsory health insurance, providing elective health insurance, or delivering health care and social services directly through their own facilities.
